Rozha One Rounded

Rozha One ist eine sehr kontrastreiche Open Source-Schrift, die noch Unterstützung für Devanagari- und Latin-Skripts bietet. Zunächst ist der Unterschied zwischen den dicken und dünnen Strichen der Buchstaben, die für die Verwendung von Bildern erstellt werden, eine ausgezeichnete Wahl für große Titel und Grafiken in Postergröße. Die indische Typengießerei führte Rozha One im Jahr 2014 ein. Der Zeichensatz von Devanagari wurde von Tim Donaldson und Jyotish Sonowal entworfen. Shiva Nallaperumal entworfenes Latein.

Lateinische Schriftzeichen werden im "modernen" oder "Didone" -Stil in ein fettes Gesicht gezeichnet, ähnlich den Buchstaben, die in den Werbeplakaten des 19. Jahrhunderts im Westen verwendet werden. Die lateinischen Buchstaben von Rozha One unterscheiden sich kaum zwischen Groß- und Kleinschreibung; Die x-Höhe der Kleinschreibung ist zu hoch - und die Größe der Großschreibung ist so klein - sie sind fast in einer Textzeichenfolge vermischt. Die Devanagari-Buchstaben sind jedoch so gezeichnet, dass die Schriftart in Umgebungen, in denen die mehrsprachigen Texte nebeneinander liegen, sehr gut mit dem Latein übereinstimmt. Der Titel der Devanagari-Basiszeichen ist genauso dick wie die lateinischen Buchstaben. Einige Devanagari-Buchstaben und Vokale ähneln den lateinischen Buchstaben der Schrift. Rozha One erscheint jedoch nicht als lateinisiert oder un Devanagari.

Die Schriftart enthält 1.095 Glyphen und bietet vollständige Unterstützung für die Konnektoren und Ligaturen, die für das Devanagari-Skript erforderlich sind. Bei der Verwendung in Bildschirmdesignumgebungen sollte Rozha One mit sehr großen Pixelgrößen verwendet werden. Der Druck kann jedoch in einem größeren Bereich von Größen verwendet werden, beispielsweise in den 16 oder 18 Punkten.
